
About Abbey Snow
Abbey Snow, MS is a fourth year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University. Her research focuses on emotion regulation and parenting behaviors in teens with tic-spectrum disorders. Clinically, she has worked with adolescents and adults who present with a range of neuropsychological and medical difficulties. Her research, which focuses on the complexities of tic disorders, informs her clinical understanding of OCD and its common comorbidities. Abbey practices under the supervision of Dr. Loran Kelly, PhD.
Abbey’s approach to therapy is grounded in using elements from evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in private practice and hospital-based settings.
Abbey believes that every person is capable of growth and change, and values the courage required in taking the first step in the healing journey! She strives to support and guide everyone in accessing skills to make necessary changes for success. Abbey enjoys working with each individual to help them uncover their strengths and utilize their power to take purposeful steps towards their ultimate goals.
