Loran Kelly, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist providing outpatient psychotherapy across the lifespan. Her specialties include the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders (body dysmorphia, hair pulling, skin picking, tics), and anxiety disorders (generalized, social, separation, selective mutism, somatic, phobias, illness, panic, agoraphobia). Services are also provided for depression, adjustment concerns, disruptive behavior, life transitions, and emotion dysregulation. Her doctoral education and training were completed at Vanderbilt University. 

 

Dr. Kelly's therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques, namely Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). She has extensive knowledge and training in the use of exposure therapy, with years of experience in school, hospital, and private practice settings. 

Dr. Kelly believes that establishing rapport is the cornerstone of all effective therapy, and uses warmth, humor, and kindness to cultivate this in the therapeutic relationship. She strives to use this rapport to help clients realize their own potential and do things they thought they could not do!
